<p data-start="373" data-end="437">But I’m starting to wonder whether certainty is always a virtue.</p>
<p data-start="439" data-end="618">Some of the smartest people I know tend to hesitate, qualify, and revise their views over time.<br data-start="534" data-end="537" />Meanwhile, the loudest voices are often the most confident, not the most careful.</p>

<p data-start="1436" data-end="1595">But some topics deserve silence before speech.<br data-start="1482" data-end="1485" />Some questions require time before conclusions.<br data-start="1532" data-end="1535" />And some issues are too complex to fit into a quick opinion.</p>
<p data-start="1597" data-end="1659">When did “I don’t know yet” stop being an acceptable response?</p>
<p data-start="1661" data-end="1786">I’m starting to believe that the ability to pause — to not immediately take a side —<br data-start="1745" data-end="1748" />is becoming a rare and valuable skill.</p>

<p data-start="713" data-end="1007">Yet, despite all this communication, misunderstanding feels more common than clarity.<br data-start="798" data-end="801" />We respond faster than we listen. We defend positions we formed in seconds.<br data-start="876" data-end="879" />Understanding — real understanding — requires slowing down, asking uncomfortable questions, and sometimes admitting uncertainty.</p>
<p data-start="1009" data-end="1113">It makes me wonder whether modern discussions are designed for truth at all,<br data-start="1085" data-end="1088" />or simply for expression.</p>
