there’s a subtle pressure in modern discourse to always have an answer.
Not knowing is often treated as weakness, hesitation as ignorance.
But some topics deserve silence before speech.
Some questions require time before conclusions.
And some issues are too complex to fit into a quick opinion.
When did “I don’t know yet” stop being an acceptable response?
I’m starting to believe that the ability to pause — to not immediately take a side —
is becoming a rare and valuable skill.
How comfortable are you with uncertainty in public discussions?
